Girds for City & Garden

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden identifier is designed within an 8×8 grid, reflects dynamic growth, interconnected systems, and collective energy within the city. The pixelated form represents the garden’s integration with its environment, balancing nature and urban elements.































Creative Coding 

The creative coding portion was developed using p5.js with support from ChatGPT.
As part of Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s evolving identity, this system uses creative coding to generate a flexible grid structure that extends its core visual language. The generative framework allows icon arrangements and visual modules to shift fluidly across different formats, supporting a living and responsive identity shaped by ecological complexity and urban transformation.
